MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

"Membership in this Society is open to persons twelve (12) years of age and over, who are interested in rocks, minerals, fossils, and the lapidary arts. Membership requirements are that a person be interested in the purpose of the society and willing to abide by the constitution and by-laws. Membership shall be contingent upon payment of the required dues: $25 for adults, $15 for other local family adults, $2.50 for students 12-18."

Monthly meetings are currently held at the Sibley Center in Hogan Park (1307 E. Wadley Ave.) from 7:00 to 9:00 pm on the 4th Thursday of each month; except in July, November, and December. Visitors are welcome. Active Members receive a monthly Newsletter.

The MGMS Shop and Library are maintained for member use only. Each person who completes the relevant courses may use related shop equipment after demonstrating proficient & safe equipment use to a designated member and paying shop fees. The Shop, located on the NW corner of Kansas and Fort Worth Street, is open most Monday nights from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
